Mom's Easy Creamy Tomato Spagetti Sauce

Sorry for the long title, but we just were not sure what to call this recipe. I grew up with my mom and my mom's mom making this tasty and quick go-to dish for as long as I can remember, and who knows, maybe my great grandma was making it as well. Regardless of origin, it's comfort food and it's easy. It is also very versatile. You can make this dish as healthy or as unhealthy as you'd like and it is easily adjustable to feed large crowds.

Ingredients

A little less than 1 pound of ground beef
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 can of tomato soup
A "couple of glugs" (according to my mom) of Worcestershire sauce
Some of the following to taste:
Garlic salt
Onion (you can even use the dried onions, just soak them in some hot water first)
Italian seasoning
Oregano
Black pepper

Brown the burger (we like to add the onions at this step). Once the meat is browned add the rest of the ingredient, altering as needed. Stir until all are well combined and the sauce is heated through. If the sauce is too thick add a little water.

Serve over your preferred pasta.

Note:
We like to add some veggies to ours, just whatever is on hand. The sauce featured in the picture has some green pepper, zucchini, and celery added to it.
To "healthify" this recipe use whole wheat pasta, lean ground meat (it could even be ground chicken), more veggies, reduced-fat cream of mushroom soup, and garlic powder instead of salt. This is a VERY forgiving recipe... have fun and as always, enjoy!!!
