Life

On Wednesday, our niece Rose came to play with us for the day. We went to the kid's art day at the Museum of Art where we explored the Walter Wick "I Spy" exhibit which Rose seemed to really enjoy. Then we went and bought some of Craig and Rose's favorite candy (Gummy Bears of course) and then we went and paid Craig a visit at work so we could share the gummy treat. After that, Rose and I walked to the duck pond to feed the ducks and to blow bubbles. Following the park we went to our house where we played a modified game of Connect Four, colored, and decorated a sugar cookie from the art activity. Once Craig got home we went to the store and let Rose pick something out... she chose strawberries! They were a delicious treat to share on the car ride back to her house in Santaquin.

On Friday we went up to the Sundance area for an Elder's Quorum party. Thanks to the Majors we had a fabulous place to eat, play games, and socialize. We also were very close to a trail head that lead to Stewart Falls. It was so great being up in the mountains and smelling the trees and not hearing the sounds of Provo... so therapeutic!!! Here's some pictures from the hike to make you jealous! Oh yeah, and I discovered that there is beauty to be found in Utah after all!!!
